‘SMILING ON THE INSIDE’, CRATE space, Margate, April 2013
A performance and installation developed through an evening of live art ‘Come as you Go’ curated by Aine Belton. The lines of the poem were threads of overheard conversations, only ever written with two lines on show. Before the third empty ‘text box could be filled the oldest line had to be painted over. The whole poem is now ingrained in the walls of the gallery and documented in photographs.
