I am interested in exploring domestic yet uncomfortable narratives in my work, building on tensions and anxieties that exist between myself, the work and the viewer, often humorous and familiarly awkward.
I have an interdisciplinary approach to practice, often physical outcomes are produced as a conduit for an ideas development and consider the fulfilment of the idea possible through any number of visual processes all as valid as each other. I am however always seeking poetry as an honest manifestation of the ideas that drive it. My recent works lean towards intervention and performance, ephemeral relationships with place and audience.
